What you will do
- Create and review comprehensive technical documents, including parts materials, process lists, qualification reports, and test procedures.
- Ensure document compliance with contractual, export, Intellectual Property, and government Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) requirements.
- Manage and track Engineering/Document Change Requests (ECR) using the Team Center ERP system.
- Coordinate between engineering and program teams to formalize drawing request records and troubleshoot process issues.
- Maintain SharePoint pages and document repositories, while digitizing heritage design files.
Requirements
- HS diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, or quality documentation.
- Ability to read engineering drawings, sketches, and wiring schematics.
- Proficiency in SharePoint and Microsoft Office software.
- Must be based in or able to relocate to Buffalo, NY.
- Must have access to U.S. export-controlled information.
Nice to have
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in a technical field.
- Ability to create figures from engineering models in NX, Solidworks, or Cadra.
- Working knowledge of Teamcenter, CRDM, iWIN, or Subversion software.
- Experience working with CUI or export-controlled information.
