What you will do

• Support plant floor systems (PFS) and manufacturing processes within a vehicle assembly facility.
• Manage PFS projects, including equipment replacement, operational improvements, and error-proofing systems.
• Troubleshoot and re-configure Hirschmann and Cisco switches and modify DCDL.
• Create Andon Board configuration files and coordinate with IT to ensure proper production line displays.
• Modify Error Proofing Logic (EPP) for new trackzones and operator stands, and perform SAT/UAT.
• Implement safe work practices and coordinate with plant business teams to attain plant-wide goals.

Requirements

• Proficiency in programming and troubleshooting Rockwell/Allen Bradley ControlLogix processors.
• Ability to troubleshoot FANUC robotics and equipment-level networks (Device-Net, Control Net, Ethernet).
• Ability to read and modify electrical prints and troubleshoot complex manufacturing equipment.
• Must be authorized to work in the US; no immigration sponsorship is provided (H-1B, TN, STEM OPT, etc.).
• Must be willing to work any shift and daily or weekend overtime to support production schedules.

Nice to have

• Experience working in automotive assembly.
• Experience with software and functionality in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
