What you will do

• Own quality bar for user experience: identify, design, and ship interface improvements end-to-end.
• Drive design-led projects with full autonomy to improve polish and interaction quality.
• Ship production features in React/TypeScript frontend, collaborating with backend engineers.
• Bridge design and engineering, prototyping in code and consulting on feasibility.
• Elevate craft standards through work, code review, and feedback on accessibility and performance.
• Shape design systems and component architecture to empower the team.
• Collaborate with leadership on roadmap priorities for user experience.

Requirements

• 8+ years shipping software at design-frontend intersection (design engineer, frontend with design, or coding designer).
• Exceptional taste and craft in typography, spacing, motion, color, interactions.
• Production-grade skills in React, TypeScript, CSS, modern web APIs (performant, accessible, maintainable).
• Design independently from problem framing to high-fidelity execution (Figma or code).
• Strong ownership: proactively identify and ship improvements.
• High-fidelity work close to final medium (browser prototyping).
• Excellent communication for collaborating across design, engineering, product.
