What you will do

• Lead frontend architecture for the core Search product using React and TypeScript.
• Build and maintain seamless end-to-end features in a high-traffic production environment.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate frontend components with Node.js services and APIs.
• Implement complex data visualizations and mapping integrations.
• Mentor teammates and champion best practices through thorough PR reviews.
• Participate in on-call rotations and cross-functional project planning.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Deep mastery of React and TypeScript.
• Experience with mapping libraries and complex data visualization.
• Comfort working with Node.js/Express and understanding of API design (REST, GraphQL, gRPC).
• Familiarity with SQL and microservice architecture.
• Ability to obtain and maintain CJIS certification (requires background check).

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS managed services (S3, API Gateway, SQS).
• Background in optimizing frontend performance for data-heavy applications.
