What you will do

• Design and develop AI agent workflows and LLM-powered application components.
• Build and test prompt strategies, retrieval flows, tool-use logic, and orchestration patterns.
• Define evaluation metrics, run benchmarks, and analyze failure cases to improve system performance.
• Optimize system quality, latency, reliability, safety, and cost.
• Contribute to backend services, APIs, internal tools, or lightweight user interfaces.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy and improve production AI systems.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• Expected graduation in 2026 or 2027.
• Solid programming skills in Python or Java, preferably with backend engineering familiarity.
• Available for a 6-month full-time commitment.
• Strong problem-solving ability and comfort working with APIs and debugging.
• Proactive, builder-minded approach with a curiosity for LLMs and AI automation.

Nice to have

• Personal projects or coursework involving LLM applications, agent systems, or AI-assisted development.
• Familiarity with OpenAI/Anthropic APIs, Hugging Face, LangChain, or vector databases.
• Experience with Git, databases, backend services, or cloud platforms.
