What you will do

• Lead implementation of Total Search strategy for UK, achieving net sales, margin, and product adoption targets across Paid Search, Organic Search, and GEO.
• Develop talent strategies to attract, retain, and build top capabilities in the practice.
• Represent Total Search in pitches and client work, reframing narratives to business resilience in AI-driven zero-click environments.
• Embed Total Search into holistic media, commerce, and content plans aligned to client outcomes.
• Define market-leading GEO solutions to enhance brand visibility and recommendations in LLM environments.
• Drive operational excellence through automation, WPP Open technology, and standardised models.
• Establish training programs and quality assurance for consistent high-standard delivery across UK.
• Provide thought leadership on search evolution and manage stakeholders including Google, Microsoft, and AI partners.

Requirements

• 10+ years in Search Marketing covering Paid and Organic Search with revenue growth success.
• Deep commercial acumen in building, pricing solutions, forecasting, and organic growth.
• Strong understanding of LLMs and Generative Engines as discovery systems.
• Technical fluency in SEO, Paid Search optimisation, structured data, and LLM signals.
• Transformational leadership of multidisciplinary teams through change and innovation.
• Experience influencing matrixed teams, winning pitches, and executive presence for C-suite.
