What you will do

• Identify and reduce recurrent machine faults and tool defectivity to improve manufacturing excellence.
• Source and install new equipment and define comprehensive tool maintenance procedures.
• Improve tool utilization and availability while reducing scrap and operational costs.
• Implement Six-Sigma statistical process control methods for capacity planning and modeling.
• Train technicians and peers on equipment operation and problem-solving techniques.
• Lead cross-functional and lean activity teams to drive process improvements.

Requirements

• BS in an engineering discipline or 5+ years of experience in semiconductor equipment engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Novellus Concept 2/Sequel and/or AMAT Ultima HDP chamber tools.
• Ability to analyze equipment performance data and produce action plans to resolve recurring failures.
• Competence in troubleshooting and applying logic to isolate and repair complex problems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for presenting datasets to diverse audiences.
• Must be able to work onsite at the Austin (Ed Bluestein) office.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in Lean Manufacturing methods.
