What you will do

• Provide advanced technical support for complex hardware installations, field implementations, and system coexistence scenarios.
• Troubleshoot vehicle electrical systems, wiring, cabling, and interoperability using structured analysis and remote methods.
• Analyze field and product performance data to identify trends and apply insights to continuous improvement.
• Manage technical escalations in fast-moving situations, communicating recommendations clearly to leadership.
• Develop and document scalable installation methods, technical processes, and field standards.
• Improve tools, workflows, and knowledge systems to strengthen Field Engineering visibility and consistency.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of relevant experience in vehicle systems, field engineering, technical support, or telematics.
• Advanced knowledge of 12V and 24V vehicle electrical systems (including EV) and telematics environments.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Ability to travel 40%–60% to customer locations and work in vehicle service environments.
• Ability to safely enter, inspect, and work in and around commercial vehicles.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience building data tools, analytical systems, dashboards, or structured reporting workflows.
• Experience contributing to knowledge base design and documentation architecture.
• Technical certification in vehicle systems, electronics, or telematics.
