Salary: $97,055.00 - $136,500.00 USD

What you will do

• Break important news on the conservative movement, including MAGA media stars and White House power players.
• Write buzzy, deeply reported stories on topics driving national political discussion.
• Promote reported work through appearances on TV, radio, podcasts, and social media.
• Travel extensively to provide comprehensive coverage of elections.
• Collaborate with the politics team and other newsroom departments to develop story ideas.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of political reporting experience with a proven track record of getting scoops.
• Extensive knowledge of American conservatism, its key figures, and the forces driving the movement.
• Deep sourcing in national politics, strong news judgment, and intellectual curiosity.
• Demonstrated ability to write cleanly and accurately on strict deadlines.
• Location: Strong preference for candidates based in Washington, D.C. or New York.
