What you will do

• Lead system design and architecture for large-scale features to ensure robustness and scalability.
• Develop and maintain mission-critical financial products using Go and React.
• Break down high-level requirements into technical tasks and manage project schedules for stakeholders.
• Mentor and coach team members while conducting rigorous code reviews to elevate coding standards.
• Drive continuous improvement of software delivery processes and engineering tooling.
• Participate in recruitment processes and production operations, including on-call rotations.

Requirements

• Must be based in Canada.
• 6+ years of experience as a Software Developer, preferably within a SaaS product company.
• Extensive expertise in designing event-driven distributed systems, microservices, and reliable data pipelines.
• Proficiency in Golang, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Experience building and maintaining customer-facing UIs using React or similar frameworks.
• Fluency in English is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of data management tools like Redis, Google Cloud Datastore, or Elasticsearch.
• Experience with containerized deployment using Kubernetes and Docker on AWS or GCP.
