What you will do

• Prepare the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and company policies.
• Execute month-end close processes, including preparing and reviewing reconciliations, journal entries, and accruals.
• Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors to provide support for financial audits and tax filings.
• Process and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Enhance and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve operations and minimize errors.

Requirements

• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP with the ability to apply it to financial reporting.
• Proven ability to exercise independent judgment on complex accounting decisions.
• Experience gathering data for financial and tax audits.
• Excellent communication skills to convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills for interpreting complex financial data.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Experience with ERP systems, particularly Netsuite.
