TL;DR

Internal Audit Manager (Finance): Managing end-to-end SOX compliance and internal control evaluations with an accent on risk identification and process remediation. Focus on developing annual audit programs and building the internal audit function from the ground up.

Location: Remote (eligible countries) or hybrid in Milan, London, Madrid, or Warsaw. Must spend most days in the Milan office during the first few months.

Salary: $123,616 – $257,642 (for US candidates)

What you will do

  • Own end-to-end SOX compliance implementation across business processes and IT systems.
  • Lead internal control evaluations, assess effectiveness, identify gaps, and drive remediation.
  • Develop and own annual internal audit programs across financial, operational, technology, and compliance areas.
  • Build the internal audit function from the ground up, establishing methodology, governance, and tooling.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, senior management, and the audit committee.

Requirements

  • Strong reasoning ability and entrepreneurial drive.
  • Proficiency in English is required.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within small, result-oriented teams.
  • Must be able to work from the Milan office during the initial onboarding period.
