Senior Internal Auditor (Finance): Delivering impactful audits to manage the hirify.global's most significant risks with an accent on independent assurance and business controls. Focus on preparing detailed audit testing plans, conducting rigorous testing, and producing robust audit reports to drive strategic decisions.

Location: Hybrid (London or Birmingham). Minimum requirement of two days per week in the office.

Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 per annum (plus London Weighting £5,441 if based in London)

What you will do

• Prepare and execute detailed audit testing plans focused on key organizational risks.
• Conduct rigorous audit testing and adapt work plans based on emerging risks and findings.
• Collaborate with management to identify issues, root causes, and implement recommendations.
• Advocate for internal control best practices across the hirify.global Group, including commercial subsidiaries.
• Write clear, concise, and balanced audit reports for senior stakeholders.
• Support departmental reporting for the Audit and Risk Committee.

Requirements

• Must be fully qualified with ACA, ACCA, ACMA, CIA, or CISA certifications.
• Proven recent experience in internal auditing.
• Demonstrable experience running end-to-end internal audits.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills for interacting with senior management.
• Must be based in or able to work from London or Birmingham.

Nice to have

• Internal audit experience in IT/technology or with a strong financial focus.
• Interest in leveraging data analytics and emerging technologies such as AI in audit delivery.
