What you will do

• Lead the management of facility health and safety programs, processes, and policies.
• Monitor regulatory compliance and maintain safety records, including OSHA VPP efforts.
• Manage and execute the employee safety training program and safety alerts.
• Oversee contractor safety and health performance, ensuring proper training and equipment use.
• Conduct frequent field safety reviews and coach employees on safe behaviors.
• Lead accident investigations, root cause analyses, and coordinate corrective actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in safety, health, or a science-related area.
• 5 years of Occupational Health and Safety experience in a Power Plant or industrial environment.
• 3 to 5 years of experience as a safety leader.
• Working knowledge of OSHA 1910 and 1926 or related state regulations.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Spring Hill, FL, USA.
• Ability to wear required PPE and a negative pressure respirator.

• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification.
