What you will do

• Develop and implement comprehensive EHS programs to ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and ISO regulations.
• Design strategies to improve safety performance and foster a safety-first culture within the manufacturing site.
• Coordinate and execute corrective and preventative action plans to address gaps identified through auditing.
• Implement sustainability initiatives to reduce energy consumption, waste, and environmental impact.
• Conduct regular risk assessments to identify hazards and implement control measures.
• Train and coach employees across all levels on safety protocols and emergency procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or 3+ years of related experience.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Linthicum Heights, MD.
• At least 3 years of experience in EHS leadership roles within a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certification processes.
• In-depth knowledge of federal and state EHS regulations and sustainability practices.

Nice to have

• Professional certification in EHS, such as CSP or CIH.
