What you will do

• Direct site EHS activities, establish objectives, and manage internal reporting of performance.
• Implement and operate the Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental management system, including risk assessments and audits.
• Manage air, water, and waste disposal applications for operational permits from federal, state, and local authorities.
• Champion site safety culture through coaching and influencing the leadership team.
• Create and facilitate EHS engagement through specialized teams and committees.
• Develop and track EHS training matrices to ensure all compliance needs are met.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in industrial safety, industrial hygiene, environmental sciences, or a related field.
• 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with pertinent regulations including OSHA, EPA, and DOT.
• Ability to communicate, consult, and gain buy-in across all levels of the organization.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects to completion.

Nice to have

• Master’s Degree.
• 5+ years’ experience of increasing responsibilities in EHS/environmental programs.
• Professional certifications such as CSP or CIH.
