Production Supervisor

TL;DR

Production Supervisor (Manufacturing): Overseeing daily manufacturing operations to ensure production goals are met safely, efficiently, and on schedule with an accent on coordinating employee activities, enforcing quality and safety standards, and driving continuous improvement. Focus on meeting KPIs, administering union agreements, maintaining discipline, and leading process enhancements in a high-volume production environment.

Location: Ft. Wayne, IN, US (onsite, must be able to work any shift including overtime and weekends)

What you will do

• Coordinate employee activities and workflow to meet production schedules.
• Monitor KPIs, develop countermeasures, and ensure goals are achieved.
• Enforce quality, safety, housekeeping, and maintenance standards.
• Assist in quality system, employee issue resolution, and continuous improvements.
• Maintain attendance records, timekeeping, production records, and department discipline.
• Administer Collective Bargaining Agreement provisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business or minimum 5 years in manufacturing supervisory role
• Knowledge of machine set-up, Lean Manufacturing, and Kaizen
• Ability to develop trust, build relationships, and lead projects
• Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills
• Experience in unionized facility; ability to work overtime, weekends, any shift
• Self-motivated with dedication to Total Quality and Continuous Improvement
