TL;DR

Business (Unit) Leader (gn) VMS - ESN: Own the build-up and scaling of VMS unit within ESN brand with an accent on revenue growth, profitability, and category portfolio decisions. Focus on defining growth strategies, cross-functional execution, and channel-specific activation across European markets.

Location: Deutschland, hybrid remote with around one visit per month to Hamburg HQ. Operate across multiple European markets.

What you will do

  • Own revenue, margin, and growth KPIs across channels and markets
  • Define and drive growth strategy with actionable plans and trade-offs
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking with leadership and finance
  • Build and scale categories, make end-to-end portfolio decisions
  • Evolve product architecture using consumer and commercial insights
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration with R&D, supply chain, and commercial teams
  • Execute channel strategies (DTC, B2B, Amazon) on pricing, promotion, and marketing
  • Lead team, ensure data-led performance, and prioritize resources

Requirements

  • 10+ years in product marketing, category marketing, commercial roles, strategy consulting, or high-growth scale-ups, ideally in sports nutrition, FMCG, VMS, or consumer health
  • Proven track record scaling business areas with impact on revenue and margin
  • Experience translating product, pricing, promotion, and channel decisions into outcomes
  • Experience across multiple European markets understanding local differences
  • Fluent in English; German is a strong plus

  • Background in top-tier consulting, leading FMCG, or high-performance e-commerce
