What you will do
- Build and maintain high-quality integrations between the platform and third-party HRIS systems such as ADP and Workday.
- Design and develop new services using a serverless, event-driven microservices architecture with AWS SAM/Lambda, EventBridge, and SNS.
- Own and enhance the public API platform, focusing on robust REST API design, OAuth implementation, and webhook management.
- Translate high-level product requirements into pragmatic workstreams, design specifications, and sprint stories.
- Collaborate with Product and User-Experience teams to refine requirements.
- Contribute to the evolution of the SDLC and champion engineering best practices.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience developing SaaS enterprise software in distributed teams.
- Must be based in Ireland.
- Strong command of serverless architectures, specifically using AWS SAM/Lambda.
- Deep practical experience with NoSQL databases, specifically DynamoDB.
- Proven experience with microservices, REST API design, event-driven patterns, OAuth, and webhooks.
- Proficiency in Typescript, React, Node.js, and CI/CD practices using GitHub Actions.
Nice to have
- Experience in product engineering, translating high-level requirements into technical plans.
- Experience with third-party integrations for major HRIS systems (Workday, SAP, ADP).
- Familiarity with modern AI tools, such as Cursor.
- Experience working in a startup or high-growth environment.
