Fullstack Engineer (Commerce)

TL;DR

Fullstack Engineer (Commerce): Building and optimizing commerce features to support revenue growth and user discovery within a high-scale SaaS platform with an accent on transition from monolith to microservices. What you will do

• Collaborate with the Commerce Squad to build features driving business impact for self-serve and enterprise customers.
• Contribute to platform scaling initiatives, moving from a monolithic architecture to a service-oriented architecture.
• Partner with Product and Design to define MVPs and execute experiments to validate user value.
• Implement and maintain scalable services and APIs using Node.js, TypeScript, and GraphQL.
• Participate in on-call rotations to ensure production stability and timely issue resolution.
• Integrate AI tools into the development workflow to increase coding velocity and quality.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software development experience in a SaaS or tech environment.
• Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript for modern frontend development.
• Professional experience in backend engineering with Node.js and PostgreSQL (schema design, query optimization).
• Experience designing and consuming GraphQL APIs in production.
• Background in mixed-stack environments (e.g., Node.js and Ruby on Rails).
• Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Kubernetes, and Argo Workflows.
• Experience with large-scale refactoring or monolith-to-services modernization.
