What you will do

• Own architecture decisions and set team-wide patterns
• Lead complex product challenges from design to shipping
• Mentor engineers via code reviews, design feedback, and pairing
• Partner with Product, Design, and Clinical teams to build scalable solutions
• Drive improvements in technical debt, reliability, and developer experience
• Champion AI tools and establish best practices

Requirements

• 8+ years full-stack engineering experience, 4+ years at Senior level, shipping complex production features
• Track record leading technical initiatives across teams/systems
• Extensive 0-1 build experience
• Proficient with AI coding tools in daily development
• Experience at early-stage venture-backed startups (seed to Series C)
• Strong stakeholder communication
• Passion for mental healthcare

Nice to have

• HIPAA-regulated healthcare or fintech experience
• AI/ML integration in production
• Based in San Francisco, able to go into office 2 days/week
