Finance Coordinator

What you will do

• Manage accounts payable and receivable functions and track budget versus actuals for the SFSC grant funded by CDSS.
• Review and post invoice journals, resolving any discrepancies.
• Process subgrantee invoices and verify accuracy and cost eligibility.
• Reconcile funder reimbursements and record payments accurately in the accounting system.
• Prepare grant expenditure reports and investigate variances.
• Provide backup support to the Finance Manager for daily operations.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work in San Diego, CA, USA.
• Formal accounting or bookkeeping training; 4-year degree in a related field is strongly preferred.
• 3+ years of professional work experience with accounting and bookkeeping standards.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and computer-based accounting software.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required.
• Ability to work effectively with remote teams via digital communication tools.
