Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (Pediatric Mental Health)

Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; the opportunity is fully remote, with a minimum of 12 hours per week during after-school hours after 4 pm ET on weekdays or at any time on weekends. An active Pennsylvania PMHNP/CRNP/APN license is required.

Salary: $135,000–$145,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and diagnoses for children, adolescents, and young adults.
• Develop personalized treatment plans and provide medication management.
• Build therapeutic relationships with patients and families, providing education and ongoing support.
• Monitor progress toward care goals, adjust treatment plans, and intervene proactively to maintain patient safety.
• Collaborate with therapists and other healthcare professionals on integrated treatment plans and participate in weekly team and supervisory clinical meetings.
• Oversee diagnostic testing, review digital and laboratory results, and maintain HIPAA-compliant records.

Requirements

• Master’s degree from an accredited nursing program.
• PMHNP-BC certification.
• At least one year of independent psychiatric experience working under licensure, with experience treating children and adolescents.
• Active Pennsylvania PMHNP/CRNP/APN license, DEA license, and State Prescriptive Authority.
• Availability for at least 12 hours per week during weekday after-school hours or weekends.
