What you will do

• Lead the resolution of manufacturing-related absence cases to improve operational performance and attendance.
• Manage short-term, long-term, and restricted worker absence cases, including the handling of complex scenarios.
• Support line managers in conducting disciplinary investigations and hearings, up to and including dismissals and appeals.
• Implement early intervention measures and tailored support plans to reduce absence duration.
• Develop and deliver absence management training for stakeholders across the manufacturing environment.
• Collaborate with Occupational Health and ER consultants to align policies and standardize best-practice processes.

Requirements

• Experience supporting absence, ill-health, and disciplinary casework specifically within a manufacturing environment.
• Valid and ongoing eligibility to work full time in the UK and travel within the EU.
• Strong coaching and advisory skills to engage managers across all levels of the business.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage a varied workload under challenging deadlines.
• High level of accuracy, strong attention to detail, and effective organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for explaining complex information clearly.
