TL;DR

Business Development Manager (Intermediaries): Educating and supporting mortgage brokers and financial advisors with residential mortgage products with an accent on building relationships and delivering ambitious targets. Focus on developing business opportunities, managing territories, and becoming an authority in the housing market.

Hybrid: based in Milton Keynes and Stevenage with travel throughout the country, spending at least two days per week (40%) in office sites.

What you will do

• Build and maintain strong relationships with mortgage intermediary partners in an established territory.
• Deliver specialised support for new and existing accounts, responding to complex enquiries.
• Collaborate with partners to develop business opportunities for income growth.
• Conduct broker appointments virtually and face-to-face to educate on products and risks.
• Track risks in the intermediary mortgage market and guide brokers on compliance.
• Hit ambitious targets while splitting time between on-the-road client meetings and home working.

Requirements

• Two years of strong business development and/or relationship management skills, preferably in intermediated environment
• Good understanding of buy-to-let mortgage market, including regulatory, technical, and legislative changes.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills for face-to-face, telephone, and virtual settings.
• Effective time management and planning to maximise daily value.
• Experience in financial services, focused on mortgages.
• Ability to use data for workload coordination and prioritisation.
• In-depth knowledge of risk, compliance, and regulatory changes.
