What you will do
- Design high-level architecture and implement guidelines and best practices for over 400 microservices.
- Solve cross-organizational technical challenges to improve system quality, stability, security, and scalability.
- Collaborate with Tech Leads and Product Managers to review detailed designs and ensure architectural consistency.
- Research and integrate new technologies into the current tech stack, disseminating concepts to the wider developer community.
- Lead the development of internal mechanisms and services for developers in collaboration with SRE and Platform teams.
Requirements
- Experience developing and operating in backend or infrastructure technology domains.
- Proficiency in Go.
- Experience designing data models using RDBMS and NoSQL.
- Proven ability to discover and resolve root causes of complex technical problems (e.g., performance degradation).
- Japanese: Proficient (B2) and English: Intermediate (B1) required.
Nice to have
- Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS.
- Experience with container technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of designing secure systems based on authentication and authorization.
- Experience utilizing DesignDocs and ADRs for technical decision-making.
- Contributions to OSS or experience developing internal managed services and SDKs.
