Technical Business Analyst

TL;DR

Technical Business Analyst (Data): Gathering, analysing, and documenting data requirements to support delivery of a centralised self-service data platform with an accent on migration, reconciliation, and validation of critical data domains. Focus on leading end-to-end data strategy initiatives, producing reports and dashboards, and ensuring governance and compliance.

Location: National Capital Region, Philippines (Remote). Must have appropriate rights and documentation for employment in Philippines.

What you will do

• Gather, analyse, and document data and reporting requirements across business divisions for a centralised self-service data platform.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, data engineering, and tech ops to translate needs into technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria using Jira and Azure DevOps.
• Lead migration, reconciliation, validation, and testing of five critical data domains to ensure reporting continuity.
• Maintain existing data reporting and operational support, resolving data quality issues.
• Contribute to data strategy enablers like MDM, data lineage, cataloguing, and governance.
• Prepare and present reports and dashboards using Power BI for decision-making.

Requirements

• 10+ years as Technical Business Analyst, preferably in data-driven environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI and DAX for dashboards and reporting.
• Proficiency in Databricks and SQL for data analysis.
• Hands-on with Confluence for documentation.
• Expertise in technical documentation, UAT, and data governance practices including MDM and compliance.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Must have rights to work in Philippines.

Nice to have

• Exposure to AWS and GCP.
• Experience in trading, financial services, or fintech.
• Understanding of trading platforms like MetaQuotes.
