What you will do

• Design and implement automated C++ test suites ranging from unit tests to integration and acceptance tests.
• Conduct exploratory testing to identify bugs, obscure edge cases, and complex system interactions.
• Drive the overall testing strategy for the team to prove and ensure functional correctness.
• Collaborate with developers via pair programming to increase knowledge sharing and design code with testability in mind.
• Maintain and expand the existing test suite within a CI/CD pipeline running every 15 minutes.

Requirements

• Experience writing C++ tests using modern C++ in a Linux/UNIX environment.
• Ability to translate business requirements into comprehensive and effective test cases.
• Capability to design simple, elegant, and well-documented tests that are easy to maintain.
• Must be located in or able to work from London, United Kingdom.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership with minimal guidance.

Nice to have

• Experience with Catch2.
• Knowledge of Continuous Integration tools, specifically Jenkins.
• Experience with Python testing using pytest.
• Knowledge of Websocket and TCP/IP networking.
• Experience with UI testing.
• Degree in a Science or Mathematics-related field.
