What you will do

• Design and build production-grade AI-powered developer tooling for coding, testing, and PR reviews.
• Build contextual, system-aware AI assistants using internal data, codebases, and tooling.
• Automate and streamline engineering workflows across GitLab, Jira, CI/CD, and Slack.
• Design and operate internal AI services and orchestration layers, such as MCP servers.
• Own solutions end-to-end from discovery and design to measurement and iteration.
• Measure success through adoption metrics and tangible time saved for engineers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a recent focus on GenAI systems.
• Proven experience building production-grade systems, not just prototypes.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic), prompting, and retrieval/context injection.
• Solid backend engineering skills and experience with APIs and integrations.
• Experience with developer tools including CI/CD, GitLab/GitHub, and Jira.
• Must be based in or able to work from the London office (Hybrid).

Nice to have

• Prior experience building developer tools, internal platforms, or DevEx tooling.
• Familiarity with MCP, agent-based systems, or model orchestration concepts.
• Experience integrating AI with large codebases or complex CI/CD environments.
