What you will do

• Manage the purchasing of goods, materials, and services.
• Obtain quotations, compare prices, and lead negotiations with suppliers.
• Select suitable suppliers and maintain ongoing strategic communication.
• Collaborate with production, logistics, and quality departments to ensure alignment.
• Monitor delivery deadlines, quality standards, and cost efficiency.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and support new product launches.

Requirements

• Degree in business/economics or commercial training in wholesale and foreign trade management.
• Several years of professional experience in operational and/or strategic purchasing.
• Fluent in German, Chinese, and English for professional negotiation purposes.
• Experience working with ERP systems and MS Office.
• Strong negotiation skills, persuasiveness, and a solid technical understanding.
• Location: Must be based in or able to work in Ochtrup, Germany.
