What you will do

• Lead the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Manage accounting for general liabilities, including AP accruals, contingencies, vendor rebates, and debt.
• Enforce company policies related to Service Purchase Order accrual accounting and internal controls.
• Lead, develop, and motivate a team of accounting staff to deliver high-quality results.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance and Business leaders to facilitate high-quality decision-making.
• Leverage AI technology to automate reporting tools and streamline accounting operations effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with minimum of 8 years’ post-graduate experience.
• Must be based in San Diego, California.
• Thorough knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), accrual accounting, and internal controls.
• Experience managing teams in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines.
• CPA certification is preferred; MBA is highly desirable.

Nice to have

• Software or SaaS industry experience.
• Two or more years of public company audit experience.
• Working knowledge of Oracle R12, Blackline, Coupa, Kyriba, and AI-related applications.
