What you will do

• Coordinate concrete pouring, forming, finishing, and underground utility installations for a large-scale power generation facility.
• Manage and schedule contractors and on-site night shift crews to deliver project milestones on time.
• Enforce aggressive construction schedules for multi-million-dollar power infrastructure projects.
• Champion a zero-incident safety culture across all employees and subcontractors during night operations.
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance with local regulations, environmental permits, and quality standards.
• Prepare progress reports and risk updates for senior leadership regarding night-shift accomplishments.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience managing construction teams for large-scale industrial projects with a focus on concrete and underground utilities.
• 5+ years hands-on experience in concrete pouring, forming, and infrastructure (electrical conduits, piping, foundations).
• Availability and willingness to work full night shifts, including potential evenings and weekends.
• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• Comfortable working outdoors in industrial environments at night with noise, heavy equipment, and limited lighting.
• Ability to lift 25+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.

Nice to have

• Postsecondary degree in construction management, civil, electrical, or mechanical engineering.
• Proven track record supervising construction for power plants, substations, or turbine foundations.
• Familiarity with Memphis/Southaven-area building codes and industrial permitting (TDEC, MDEQ).
• Experience with construction management software such as Procore, AutoCAD, MS Project, or Primavera.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite for reporting and scheduling.
