What you will do

• Define backend architecture, hosting approach, and development strategy for complex web applications.
• Lead CMS implementations and migrations including content modeling and ETL process design.
• Design and maintain scalable REST and GraphQL services for modern frontend experiences.
• Partner with DevOps on infrastructure, environments, CI/CD pipelines, and hosting platforms.
• Own server-side architecture ensuring security, high performance, and scalability.

Requirements

• Strong backend engineering with Node.js, Deno, or Bun and solid TypeScript foundation.
• Deep knowledge of Sanity.io and composable CMS platforms with content architecture experience.
• Strong understanding of fullstack design especially backend interaction with React/Next.js frontends.
• Experience with testing, automation, performance optimization, and security best practices.
• Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
