What you will do

• Lead the Backend Department, managing team growth, performance, and mentoring.
• Define architectural vision and ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of the platform.
• Develop and evolve the AI orchestration layer and AI Gateway for text, image, voice, and video generation.
• Scale infrastructure and backend services to support rapid product growth.
• Maintain high engineering standards in code quality, security, and observability.
• Deliver strategic AI initiatives including RAG pipelines and AI agent capabilities.

Requirements

• 7+ years of commercial experience with Node.js.
• 3+ years of experience in a Lead, Team Lead, or Engineering Manager role.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with NestJS.
• Proven experience designing and evolving microservice architectures in production.
• Deep expertise in PostgreSQL and Redis.
• English: Upper-Intermediate level or higher required.

Nice to have

• Active AWS Architect or Developer certification.
• Experience with Terraform and high-load system optimization.
• Experience with RAG, embeddings, MCP, and AI agents.
• Experience with payment systems integration.
