Location: Must be based in the United States (excluding Hawaii)
Salary: $206,550 – $243,000

What you will do
- Lead the architecture and implementation of Trust & Safety systems to mitigate fraud and billing anomalies.
- Establish a brand-new engineering domain from the ground up within the Provider organization.
- Develop robust custom tools and integrate industry solutions to enforce safety policies.
- Mentor senior engineers and establish design patterns for high-reliability systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bridge technical and non-technical requirements.
- Drive the full development lifecycle from planning and specification to post-launch maintenance.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- 1+ years of experience working on Trust & Safety systems.
- 1+ years of experience helping to form a new team from scratch.
- Fullstack experience building modern database-backed web applications.
- Experience with microservice development and complex project execution.
- Must be based in the United States (excluding Hawaii).
Nice to have
- Startup experience.
- Experience with AWS, Node.js, TypeScript, and Kafka.
- Background in products with high reliability or mission-critical requirements.
