What you will do

• Define and execute the long-term strategic vision for Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD evolution, and cloud-native architecture on AWS.
• Design and implement self-service internal platforms to reduce developer cognitive load and increase deployment velocity.
• Manage cloud spend and lead cost-optimization initiatives and contract negotiations for the DevOps toolstack.
• Oversee High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) protocols across multiple regions.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and infrastructure using Terraform, Python, Go, and Bash.
• Recruit, hire, and mentor a world-class team of DevOps Engineers, aligning infrastructure deliverables with the product roadmap.

Requirements

• Must be based in the USA
• 10+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Software Engineering, with 5+ years in a management role.
• Expert-level mastery of AWS and experience managing multi-region, high-availability deployments.
• Advanced experience with Kubernetes (K8s) and Docker, including cluster management and scaling.
• Proficiency in Terraform and deep experience designing complex pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins).
• Experience acting as an Incident Commander for high-severity outages.

• Experience leading organizational platform migrations.
• Prior experience in high-velocity, early-to-mid stage product technology companies.
