What you will do

• Define the architectural framework for data center switch ASICs and other intra-rack and inter-rack scale components.
• Collaborate with marketing and business development to identify high-value customer use cases.
• Partner with Design, Verification, Physical Design, and Software teams to deliver SoC features and Soft/Hardware co-designs.
• Conduct detailed performance analyses and apply modeling techniques to evaluate power-performance-area (PPA) trade-offs.
• Author detailed architecture specifications and define robust validation plans.
• Represent the company in industry workgroups such as PCI-SIG, CXL, UALink, OCP, and JEDEC.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience with a Master’s degree, or 10+ years with a PhD, in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering.
• Proven track record of delivering ASIC product architectures, including comprehensive documentation and pseudocode.
• Solid understanding of industry-standard interconnect protocols: PCIe, CXL, UALink, and Ethernet.
• Ability to guide design and verification teams through the full implementation of ASIC products.
• Must be eligible to access export-controlled information under U.S. export control laws (EAR).
• Excellence in technical communication to articulate complex architectures and algorithms.

Nice to have

• Extensive experience in ARM CPU subsystem architecture, including memory and cache subsystems.
• Working knowledge of ASIC security, including root-of-trust, TEE, data encryption, and access control.
