What you will do
- Process shipment entries and lead performance/automation objectives using a Transportation Management System.
- Maintain professional communication with customers and carriers, especially during service failures.
- Supervise and revise shipments based on evolving shipper, customer, and carrier needs.
- Coordinate shipment appointments using external websites and communication tools.
- Update load statuses (pick-up, delivery, empty) and set up new receiver/vendor locations.
- Collaborate with Logistics Teams to solve complex shipment issues.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 1+ years of customer service or transportation experience.
- Basic proficiency with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Transportation, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.
- 2+ years of deep experience in the logistics industry.
- Familiarity with BI and Tableau reporting for data-driven insights.
- Advanced proficiency with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office Suite.
