What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and inclusive collaboration within a group of software engineers.
• Oversee the development and delivery of performant, user-centric software solutions.
• Modernize the tech stack and engineering practices by leveraging latest technologies and methodologies.
• Spearhead the integration of AI tools to accelerate the design, development, and testing lifecycle.
• Lead technical discussions, make strategic decisions, and advocate for clean code and robust design.

Requirements

• 10+ years of industry experience with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Proven track record of steering engineering teams to deliver exceptional software punctually.
• Expertise in crafting positive, open, and accountable team atmospheres based on transparency.
• Hands-on ability to contribute to technical strategies and perform code reviews.
• Familiarity with Java, JavaScript, React, MySQL, and AWS/Google Cloud.
• Must be based in the US or Ontario, Canada.
