What you will do

• Design AI-driven search experiences and drive the long-term technical vision for the search relevance team.
• Enhance core search retrieval and ranking systems, build search indexes, and develop new pipeline components.
• Deploy ML models and integrate LLMs to redefine how users discover and interact with information.
• Collaborate across ML, Product, Infrastructure, and Data Science teams to solve complex technical challenges.
• Mentor and guide senior and staff engineers within the team.
• Partner with senior leadership to shape the organization-wide technical roadmap.

Requirements

• 10+ years of industry experience with deep expertise in large-scale search and recommendation systems.
• Strong experience building and deploying large-scale ML models using PyTorch or Tensorflow.
• Experience working with LLMs in production, including evaluation, tuning, and deployment.
• In-depth knowledge of lexical and semantic retrieval systems.
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming with Python and Golang.
• Must be based in the United States.
