What you will do

• Design and deploy high-throughput AI/ML capabilities for real-time personalization and deep user insights.
• Lead the implementation and orchestration of production LLM-backed applications and agentic workflows.
• Process petabyte-scale data streams using big data techniques to derive insights from mail metadata and content.
• Optimize and serve ML/LLM models in production using frameworks like vLLM, TensorRT-LLM, Triton, or ONNX Runtime.
• Implement automated feedback loops and graceful recovery paths to handle model failure modes.
• Balance compute costs, latency, and quality to optimize systems for massive consumer scale.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• 5+ years of professional experience engineering and deploying production ML or data science systems at scale.
• Proficiency in Python or Java and deep expertise in PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Hugging Face.
• Demonstrated experience building LLM-based applications, agentic systems, or RAG.
• Experience with high-performance inference serving tools such as vLLM, Triton, or ONNX Runtime.
• Hands-on experience processing large datasets using Spark, Hadoop, or cloud-native data pipelines.

Nice to have

• Experience building and scaling ML pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Domain expertise in email systems, large-scale consumer platforms, NLP, or search architecture.
• Early adoption of AI developer tools such as Cursor, Claude, or Codex.
