What you will do

• Architect and implement automated behavioral analysis pipelines to detect trial abuse and account takeovers.
• Build continuous risk scoring systems to proactively identify emerging threats across the customer lifecycle.
• Develop a sender reputation tracking system integrated with email deliverability signals.
• Engineer analysis capabilities for campaign content, including URL, image, and web-based threat detection.
• Deploy custom Python services and Sift rules to automate real-time security responses.
• Collaborate with Security Platform Engineering to enhance data pipelines and AI feature telemetry.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building fraud detection, abuse prevention, or security monitoring systems.
• Expert-level Python development skills for production-grade systems.
• Deep expertise in messaging abuse patterns, specifically email/SMS phishing and spam.
• Strong understanding of ML-based detection and behavioral analytics at scale.
• Technical proficiency with modern abuse tooling such as Sift.
• Work authorization for the United States (required for benefits like 401k and HDHP).

Nice to have

• Prior experience in SaaS messaging, marketing automation, or Email Service Provider (ESP) platforms.
• Experience in content moderation or text/image analysis.
