What you will do

• Drive the full vulnerability lifecycle and coordinate responses to external threats.
• Design and build autonomous security systems and AI tooling to scale security across all teams.
• Partner with product engineers to ensure new features and systems are built securely from the ground up.
• Manage the bug bounty program and shape the company's presence in the security research community.

Requirements

• 6+ years of software engineering experience.
• 3+ years of specialized experience in product security.
• Ability to translate complex security risks into product decisions for non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience embedding security into an engineering team's SDLC effectively.
• Must be based in or be able to relocate to San Francisco, CA.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with SAST/DAST tooling, dependency scanning, or bug bounty programs.
• Compliance experience with SOC 2 or HIPAA in cloud-native environments.
• Experience building systems that handle highly sensitive financial or identity data.
