Scrum Master I (Fintech)

TL;DR

Scrum Master (Fintech): Guiding and coaching Scrum teams to apply agile values and principles to deliver customer value with an accent on servant leadership and impediment removal. Focus on facilitating Scrum events, supporting the Product Owner in backlog refinement, and fostering a self-organizing team environment.

Location: Hybrid (Arlington, TX), 2 days a week in office. Must not require visa sponsorship.

What you will do

• Coach Scrum teams on agile values and principles to improve customer satisfaction.
• Protect development teams from outside influences and proactively remove impediments.
• Facilitate key Scrum events including Daily Scrums, Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Collaborate with the Product Owner to ensure the product backlog is visible, refined, and prioritized by business value.
• Promote a psychologically safe environment centered on problem-solving and continuous healing.
• Empower teams to be self-organized and drive progressive improvement.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience as a project manager or in a similar leadership role through influence.
• Must hold a Scrum Master Certification (CSM, PSM I, or PMI-ACP).
• Strong proficiency in Agile delivery tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or TFS.
• Deep knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and overall Agile frameworks.
• Must be based in the US and unable to be considered if visa sponsorship is required.
• High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
