Solutions Engineer (SaaS)

TL;DR

Solutions Engineer (SaaS): Partnering with Account Executives to provide technical scoping and solution architecture for a legal AI platform with an accent on business value and technical deal strategy. Focus on designing proof of concepts, managing database migrations, and aligning customer requirements with the product roadmap.

Location: Hybrid: Must be based in Vancouver, Calgary, or Toronto (minimum 2 days/week in office)

Salary: $85,300 – $115,300 CAD + uncapped commission ($28,500 – $38,500 CAD)

What you will do

• Provide technical sales support and articulate core platform capabilities, ecosystem integrations, and competitive differentiation.
• Own the technical deal strategy and deliver proof of concepts (PoCs) to demonstrate business value and ROI.
• Enable Sales teams to deliver targeted, persona-based, and business-value driven demonstrations.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to influence the product roadmap based on market and customer requirements.
• Maintain deep expertise in the legal tech industry, competitive landscape, and best practices.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a Solution Engineer or PreSales Consultant for a SaaS provider.
• Strong technical understanding of cloud technologies, APIs, database migrations, and security infrastructure.
• Proven ability to deliver technical sales presentations, product positioning, and objection handling.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be based in Canada (Calgary, Vancouver, or Toronto).
