What you will do

• Own the engineering organization, including team structure, hiring, performance, career growth, and culture.
• Set and maintain high standards for engineering quality, reliability, and delivery cadence.
• Partner with the Director of Product to translate roadmap priorities into sequenced, executable engineering plans.
• Drive architectural decisions that support scalability, maintainability, and AI integration.
• Lead incident response culture, focusing on fast resolution, clear communication, and continuous learning.
• Evaluate and integrate AI-powered development tooling and practices across the entire team.

Requirements

• 7+ years in software engineering, with at least 3 years in an engineering leadership role.
• Proven track record of building and scaling B2B SaaS products in production environments.
• Deep experience leading engineering teams through growth, including hiring, onboarding, and retention.
• Demonstrated ability to balance delivery speed with technical integrity.
• Strong communication skills across both technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

• Background in proptech, real estate, field service, or operations software.
• Experience building or integrating AI-powered features, LLM workflows, or intelligent automation.
• Experience working in companies with 30 to 150 employees.
• Familiarity with multi-sided platform architecture or B2B2C product environments.
