What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and grow teams of 5–15+ engineers, driving delivery of high-quality, reliable software.
• Partner with Product Management to align engineering with customer outcomes and business metrics.
• Define and implement AI-driven quality strategies, including automated testing, self-healing suites, and LLM-based validation.
• Build AI-powered tooling for SDLC, such as code generation, security analysis, and adaptive CI/CD pipelines.
• Establish observability with logging, metrics, tracing, SLOs/SLIs, and data-driven improvements.
• Execute technical roadmap, manage technical debt, and guide architecture for scale and agility.

Requirements

• Location: Must be in United States or Canada
• 5+ years software engineering experience.
• 3+ years engineering management leading teams of 5–15+ engineers.
• Proven delivery of production-grade systems with automation-enforced quality standards.
• Experience with AI developer tools (Cursor, Copilot, LLMs) for code, testing, and productivity.
• Deep knowledge of testing strategies, CI/CD, observability, SLOs/SLIs, and metrics.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and cross-functional communication skills.

Nice to have

• Software security, supply chain security (SCA, SBOMs), or cybersecurity experience.
• Background in IoT, embedded systems, or high-reliability environments.
