What you will do

• Inspire and lead a team of developers, fostering a collaborative environment where innovation is celebrated.
• Develop team strategies, including planning, forecasting, and monitoring workload.
• Run scrum processes to ensure timely delivery of software initiatives and remove team impediments.
• Oversee application Change, Compliance, Performance, and Problem management processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional IT and business teams to identify and prioritize top initiatives.
• Implement effective product support techniques to reduce defects and improve system stability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 8+ years of team management experience leading web developers.
• 6+ years of experience developing e-Commerce applications for B2C or B2B.
• Track record of managing teams of 5+ members using Next.js, React, Angular, and commerce platforms like Shopify or SAP Commerce.
• Strong proficiency in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, XP) and knowledge of data privacy laws.
• Must be based in or able to work from Deerfield, Illinois.

Nice to have

• Experience using AI tools to accelerate development and testing.
• Experience with application rationalization and platform migrations.
• Deep understanding of design patterns, UX/UI design, and technical architecture.
