What you will do

  • Resolve low complexity and low exposure claims.
  • Investigate workers’ compensation claims to determine injured worker eligibility for benefits.
  • Administer indemnity and medical benefits for valid claims.
  • Manage the claims process through collaboration with physicians, nurses, and attorneys.
  • Identify subrogation opportunities and initiate recovery efforts.
  • Ensure all file handling adheres to state statutes and client guidelines.

Requirements

  • Prior experience handling California workers’ compensation claims is required.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain CA claims handling certification.
  • US Work Authorization required; no visa sponsorship provided now or in the future.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience handling workers’ compensation claims in AZ, CO, or UT.
  • Professional insurance designation.
  • Degree in business-related courses.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of medical terminology.
