What you will do

• Maintain and reconcile General Ledger for a portfolio of captive insurance companies.
• Prepare and peer review monthly and quarterly financial statements.
• Handle the preparation and filing of premium tax returns and regulatory filings.
• Manage client financial audits and provide daily verbal and written communications.
• Prepare for and attend client Board of Director meetings.
• Liaise with third-party service providers and state regulators.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
• 2+ years of financial accounting experience (internships considered for entry-level candidates).
• Proficiency in Excel and general ledger accounting software.
• Must be based in the Mountain Standard Time Zone (MST).
• Ability to travel up to 5% domestically as needed.

Nice to have

• CPA certification.
